Marcio Ballas co-founded Jogando no Quintal (“Playing in the Yard”) in 2002, the oldest improvisational troupe in Brazil. He is the creator/director of Caleidoscópio, one of the first improvised long form structures in Brazil and is a performer on the popular TV show É Tudo Improviso. Ballas trained in Paris at École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and has performed as a clown and improviser on stages and screens all over the world. He trained the hugely successful group, Barbixas, and works often as an emcee and/or as a facilitator of big corporate events.
